Above all, we wanted our house to be a healthy environment in which to live. So, wherever possible, we chose to use building materials that neither cost the earth nor add to modern life’s assault on our well-being. But, in the words of the song, ‘It’s not easy being green…’ Inevitably, we had to make certain compromises. Whether or not you have a similar project of your own, we hope that you’ll find this site useful and learn something valuable from our experience. |
